I have recently begun a relationship with Renee from MadeOn Skin Care Products and I’m not sure who is more excited…me or my hands.
Really, you should see my hands flying all over this keyboard in their soft and smooth joy. NOTHING has ever worked this well for my dry, cracked hands. In fact for as long as I can remember, my hands have cracked and bled every winter, for the entire winter. This looks awesome. I just ordered some lotion from Tropical Traditions today for my daughter. She gets really dry skin on her arms. I might have to try this too. I have to be careful because a lot of lotions irritate it and she will cry till I wash it off.
My twins were born at 25 weeks and were in the NICU. As a matter of lifesaving cleanliness we had to sanitize, wash, and rewash all the time. Oh, wow, I definitely need some of this! My hands have never been as chapped and irritated as they have this year. Even little baby’s cheeks are more raw than any of my other girls’ have ever been.
I would LOVE to win this! I’ve always had this problem as well. My hands just get soooo dry in the winter. I’ve been using Shea Cashmere Hand Cream from Bath and Body Works that is wonderful. Well, wonderful until it wears off an hour later. And until you read the ingredient list. I would love an alternative that I can pronounce and that lasts more than an hour!

I have tried everything and my hands are cracked, red, sore, rough and they bleed. I have done gloves on my hands with all sorts of different products and it does not work or if it does its for a very short time. It’s embarrassing when you’re using your hands in public and they are bloody.

I’d love to win. A friend and I made lotion bars according to the directions on the Made-On website and gave them for Christmas gifts. Everyone absolutely loved them. My son’s eczema is not even noticeable since I made a bar for him to use. I scented it with bergamot and orange oils so it wasn’t too girly for him. My dad has horribly dry/scaly/cracked feet and they have greatly improved since using his bar–peppermint scented. My favorite is orange and vanilla mixed together. I’ve never won anything, but I would so so so LOVE to win this giveaway… I have developed severe cracking/dry skin on my right hand and have been trying everything to heal it. WOW wow wow. I just got online to post a FB status asking for natural help for my hands. They are so rough, like sandpaper, that I sometimes feel bad stroking my kids’ skin! And my fingertips crack right near my nails. I can’t figure out a direct cause, though I have been trying to wear gloves when I wash dishes. My right hand is much worse than my left, so I think it is something related to an external/use cause rather than internal or diet. Hmmm. Any other wisdom? I’ve never struggled with eczema. I too have painfully dry hands and lather them up every night just to make it through the next day. I’d love to try these products!
Just a quick testimony: I love this lotion! One of my toddlers has horrible eczema. He used to get really bad scabs all over his little body. We tried everything and finally found this lotion. Although his eczema has not completely cleared, we have noticed a significant improvement. None of the other creams and lotions did anything but irritate his skin.

Well Laura apparently you are not the only one with this problem. I thought it was because I’m always washing my hands.
I just came back from the dematologist and the verdict is eczema. It would be wonderful to try something other than the prescription he gave us.

Your hands sound just like mine, except mine are itchy, too. I think it’s eczema but I’ve never had it confirmed by a doctor. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I’ve scratched them so hard in my sleep that they are bleeding. So not fun! I’ve love to try these products. Any relief would be great!

I am always on the lookout for pure, chemical free moisturizers for my 2 yr old son and myself. My fingertips and knuckes are the parts of my hands that are often cracked and bleeding. I have had excema and psoriasis my entire life. I used to have it just on my knees and elbows but now I have it on the back of my neck and the inside of one elbow and I would really love to win this.
I have eczema too and my fingers have cracked every winter for as long as I can remember. I have been working with a kinesiologist this winter and she said it is caused by heavy metals in our bodies. We have been working on removing them and my hands are the best they have been in 15 years or more.

My mom has always had rough, cracked hands–not just in winter–and she’s recently gone to a natural doctor who told her if she stopped drinking milk, her hands would clear up. When I was home visiting in January, I was shocked that her hands are actually soft now too! Giving up milk is hard, but if my mom can, anyone can! =)

My 18 yr. old daughter has always been a girly-girl, loving scented bath soaps, bubble baths lotions etc. However, because of sensitive dry skin she could never use anything other than castille soap, select lotions and coconut oil without getting rashes. She always looked on wistfully as her sister and I received yummy bath products as gifts. My 8 year old daughter had a liver transplant when she was a baby. She has suffered daily from very dry and itchy skin for 5 years. It get to the point where she scratches herself until she bleeds. The best product that I ever used was straight bees wax that was whipped so it was the consistency of vaseline(it too was an all natural product) and at first I got great relief but then it stopped working). This sounds like a wonderful product. I’m going to consider it even if I don’t win some!

This sounds great! My hands have always had problems, and while I discovered that giving up eggs helped immensely, there are still a few cracks and they are painful!
My thumb cracks and bleeds in the winter … and sometimes in the summer too. I thought it was diet related, but I would love to see if this can help. I also get a bad rash on the backs of my hands when I handle firewood, which isn’t very practical, since we heat with wood! I wonder if this could help with that?

I would love to win this prize pack! My little six month-old daughter has had severe eczema covering her face, scalp, neck, trunk and knee pits since she was three months old. I’m not able to breastfeed her because I have a medical condition in which I pretty much don’t make milk at all, so I have limited options for changing her diet in lieu of my own “brand”, though we are fairly certain her eczema is allergy-related. We’ve used so many things to try to offer her some relief, and so far, we might get an hour or two or at most a day’s worth of good out of something, but tat’s usually it. The best we’ve found so far is just coconut oil with lavendar essential oil mixed in, but even that leaves her skin itchy and flaking. I’d be interested to see if these lotion bar help her any–thanks for the giveaway! And thanks for the heads up on a new product for dry skin sufferers!

I would LOVE to try this product myself! For about 15 years or so I have suffered from extremely dry skin on my foot. I can relate to putting on a moisturizing product for only brief relief. It can be very daunting. For me, if I don’t try and keep some kind of moisturizer on my foot daily, it gets out-of-hand dry and I get deep cracks in the bottom of my feet making it painful to walk. I’ve seen doctors, but no one has been able to offer any real help.

Oh this sounds like what my daughter needs! my skin is drier now than it was growing up in the southern humidity. But my 9 year old daughter’s hands crack and bleed and are bright red all of the time. The biggest thing is there is an adult disease that is a direct result of overly dry skin as a child! So we need to get this under control now! Thanks for the information.

Oh, I so need this right now. Not only have my hands been cracking and bleeding at my fingertips (which is painful) this entire winter for some odd reason, but Jacob has mild to moderate eczema and I have to constantly keep rubbing shea butter on his cheeks, backs of his hands, his knee and his lips. CONSTANTLY. And like you said, only for temporary relief.

Thank you for the opportunity to win this! My regular go-to cream for eczema in our family is California Baby Calendula Cream (not lotion). It has been our miracle in a jar, but I’d love to try this bar and see if it out does California Baby.
I sooo relate to your dry cracked hands. I’m in chilly northern Idaho (same latitude as Maine). No dishwasher here but me! I’ve finally resorted to super heavy duty gloves to help protect my hands when I wash dishes. My favorite is Bluettes by Spontex. Azure has had them, but not in my size so I eventually found them on Amazon. Some hardware stores have them too, but again only in M or L and I needed small. They are about $7 a pair, but they last me easily 6 months to a year. I’ve only needed to replace them if I’ve punctured them with a knife or kitchen shears while washing, not because they wore out. These gloves, coupled with the calendula cream have gotten me away from the bloody finger splits!
I so want to win this for my husband. We think he has developed an allergy to formaldehyde. No big deal right? WRONG! Formaldehyde is hidden in almost every lotion, soap, shampoo and hair gel. There are so many different names for it, I have to take a recipe card with all the names on it whenever I go shopping for products for him.
His poor hands look so raw and sore. Good luck to us.

As a Kindergarten teacher in Ct, between the constant hand-washing to prevent the spread of germs, and the cold weather, my hands are painfully dry and cracked. Cotton gloves at night with a shea cream are not even working…help!

My son has a severe case of eczema, bumps like hives and cuts from scratching on every inch of his back, neck chest, legs all over his little body. Our family uses a product from Young Living Essential Oils called Melrose. This might be another optoption for you! They also have an oil specifically for eczema.

Both my daughter and I have Darier’s Disease (a rare hereditary skin disease). Darier’s Disease comes when it wants, where it wants and stays as long as it wants.
