Would you give me a high five if I told you that I’m planning to share more healthy recipes that are super simple to make? (Or would you bowl me over with a big bear hug? ‘Cause that would be okay too.)

Beginning next week I’ll begin to share some new recipes with you that I’ve labeled: High Five Recipes.

High Five Recipes are…

High Quality Recipes that include FIVE Ingredients or less!!

High Five Recipes 2

I hope you’re as excited about it as I am.

Not only are there only five basic ingredients….most of the recipes only take five minutes to put together.

Simple and healthy…and low in cost.

Cooking healthy has never been easier.

Ah, skip giving me a high five. Let’s all have a group hug.

:)

I need High 5 recipes for picky eaters. Hubby and Kiddo have issues with a lot of textures and some flavors…it makes for a short list of approved recipes! :o)

    ((((((Group hug!))))))

Lunches are hard here. Right now i have a basic plan,
Monday ramen noodle, Tuesday salad, Wednesday soup, Thursday sandwiches, Friday left overs. But the days seem boring and predictable. Thanks for any help!

Right now healthy lunch consists of pbj (with natural pb, 100% fruit jelly, and 100% ww bread), airpopped popcorn, and fruit/veggies. Personally, we’re all getting tired of it (except maybe the 5 and 3 year olds!)

I would LOVE other lunch ideas (although I’m about to try Happy to be at Home’s mac and cheese.

Also, snacks are SOOOO hard. Hard not to do sweets….but I have fixed several of your natural sugar treats (thanks!)

    Love this blog~

Oh, this sounds so interesting! My challenge is trying to fit more veggies into my meals. I am looking forward to what you present. I have tried many of your recipes (including from your cookbooks) and my family loves them. Thank you for simple, but good cooking help!

Lunch ideas would be great! Also, some great easy snacks and maybe a dessert would be fun too. It’s always hard to come up with easy, quick, and health(or no so bad for you) desserts.

Thanks!! Can’t wait to see and try what you post!

Since my hubby’s been off work, lunchtime is a challenge. Also healthy desserts would be great!

Lunch, lunch, lunch. All of my kids love lunch and want a lot of it. I’d love to incorporate more veggies in this meal as we always have a fruit instead. Sandwiches are okay, but I don’t always have bread baked for it. I think the biggest problem is the kids want a big lunch and Dad wants a nice dinner. Thank you, Laura, for sharing so much with all of us.

(((((BIG HUG)))) The twins are hungry as soon as we finish school, so I could really use some quick lunch ideas. I also need snack ideas – something that will carry us through karate class until we get home to eat our healthy dinner. I’m so excited!!!

Lunch time with more veggies, less meat. And dinners for those nights when things are so crazy and I can’t do what was on my menu. Snacks too.

I’m sticking with most of the others, I think, when I say: LUNCH ideas! PBJ is about all there is around here. I have a hard enough time “menu-ing” our dinners to menu anything else. Do I need to work on it? Absolutely, but ideas are SOOO helpful.

Do you know if the ranch pack. you used on the potatoes has MSG in it? We have a high allergy to MSG…seems to be in so many of our foods too.
Also, the mac-n-cheese…does this work with organic none fat milk or does it have to be whole milk????
Thanks so much for this blog…extremely helpful for a mom of three!

Hi Just read your Mac & Cheese recipe. Another version which our family really loves is…Make the Mac & Cheese as instructed. Just before serving add a can of Mushroom Soup to the Mac & Cheese. Very creamy & delicious. Taste like Alfredo Pasta… Enjoying your High 5 Recipes.

When a mother stays up late to do all the things she can’t readily do while the kids are awake, it can be hard to wake up. But the kids are always there, bright and early, begging for the “feed me’s.”

Breakfast is always my most stressful time. I am trying to banish cereals, but that means I am cooking ALL-THE-TIME. With breakfast, especially, if it takes too long to make, it throws the whole pace of the day thanks to a later start. Quick, healthy, tasty breakfasts would be most helpful! Lunches are easy–they’re simply dinner leftovers. :)
