Chocolate Pumpkin Bread, Spanish Rice, and Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit Dip (Last Day for Our eBook Overload Amazing Sale!)

Is it just a little bit ridiculous that I’m the one who wrote the books, and I had forgotten about half of the recipes in them? {she asks, sheepishly…}

I get into recipe ruts, rotating through many of our “old faithfuls”. Or, on the flip side, I continue to experiment with brand new recipes in an effort to keep up with all of the great ideas you all suggest.

But this week, since we are having a big sale on our Heavenly Homemakers eBook Overload (10 books for $20!) – I was inspired to start flipping through each of the books. Page after page I found recipes that I hadn’t made in a while. I got super excited and started cooking.

Question:  Why have I not been making my Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit Dip from the time all of the bazillions of apples began making their way into my kitchen this fall?

I seriously couldn’t stop eating this once I started – even though I’d already had a big dinner.
Let’s blame it on my workout earlier in the day, shall we?

And since my Spanish Rice recipe is so very easy, wouldn’t it make sense for me to make it for a quick lunch more often?

I also pulled out my Chocolate Pumpkin Bread recipe. I had forgotten how moist it is.

As you can tell, I’ve been having way too much fun in the kitchen this week. It may not come as a surprise to you that none of the men in my life have complained about the fun I’ve been having revisiting some of our “forgotten” recipes. :)

Up next – Chocolate Mousse. I can’t believe I forgot about this recipe.

Read more about our Heavenly Homemakers eBook Overload Sale, which will provide you with these healthy, family friendly recipes – plus loads more!

Take advantage of this deal for one last day. Sale ends on at 11:59 pm Thursday, September 27.

    Is the PB yogurt dip as good as your PB cream cheese dip? That stuff is so good, I don’t need any fruit!

    I would love to buy this offer, but I have a few drawbacks. First I only have my phone for internet service. Would that work for e books? And as of right now we don’t have a visa card. (my husbands wallet got stollen:-() so I would have to pay by ck.

      I suppose it depends on how much memory your phone has as to whether or not you’d be able to save ten pdf books on it? And, I’ve accepted checks in the past when others have been in your situation. Feel free to email me if you’d like to talk about this further. (laura at heavenlyhomemakers.com)

    Yes, I feel the same way about forgotten recipes. I have been paging through my recipe binder and favorite cookbooks as I am in the middle of a mammoth project to ruff out my menu plans for fall/winter. Since farmer’s market produce will be ending soon, it is time to start making heartier meals. I wrote down list’s of all my favorite cold weather soups, salads, meat based dishes, etc. Then I will start plugging them into dinner slots, making sure to have a variety of meat types each month. I figure I can keep cycling through my list accordingly and if it’s done right, I will only end up making the time consuming, expensive things like french onion soup and lamb stew, once or twice. I even made a list of my favorite desserts. With only 1 dessert per week, I am down to making many of my favorite desserts only once a year. I think, I have more favorite dessert recipes then I do weeks, LOL If this system works out, I will have a meal template for future years :)
