I’ve been wanting one for a long time. I’ve been trying to figure out if I’ve been needing it…or just wanting it. I saved up for it. I researched it.
And last week I got it.
My new laptop computer. It’s actually not new…just new to me and that counts, right?
Now, I can write while sitting in my recliner. Or upstairs. Or outside.
And…when Matt needs to do computer work in the evenings…we can both get computer work done. At the same time. Together.
I’m very excited about my new laptop! See? Look at me? I’m blogging from the couch!!

Now, I’m wondering how I might be able to wash dishes from the comfort of my couch? (Kidding. Of course I’m not that lazy.) (Actually…letting the boys wash dishes while I’m on the couch sort of works, doesn’t it?)

I can see this aura of light about you….a lovely yellow glow……I’m just thankful that I can read blogs like yours….without a laptop, but internet access for 2 whole years now, is what I’m thankful for. And I’m thankful for blogs that encourage me, and connect me with dear friends who have recently moved far away.
I’m thankful that you can also type on an airplane if you so chose!
I also got a “new to me” laptop last September for free :) I am most definitely thankful for this little tool of mine! It was very helpful this homeschooling year as we werent’ always competing for one computer but mostly, like you, I love the ease and comfort of sitting wherever I want to do my work.
I just got my own laptop a few weeks ago, too! The first week I got a little carried away, but I’m slowly learning self-control. :) It’s just so nice to be able to get online to look up a recipe without having to interrupt anyone else’s turn on the desktop!
