LOVE Berkey! We took ours on a camping trip recently to have fresh filtered water.

I love,love.love Berkey Water Filters. When I shopped for a water filter, the thing that sold me on Berkey was it’s ability to remove fluoride. They’re pretty much the only ones that do, save for installing a reverse osmosis system, and they can be quite pricey!

I bought the travel Berkey a while back and have really enjoyed it. I should have known though that since there’s six of us (my husband and I and our 4 boys), I should have purchased the Big Berkey. I’ve told lots of people about what a good product this is. During the Hurricane here in eastern North Carolina, there was a boil notice for water, but nearly impossible to do since most were without power. I felt comfortable putting our water in the Berkey and drinking it, knowing that it filters out most pathogens.
I would love to win this wonderful Berkey water filter. How great that would be!
After researching water filters I settled on the Berkey. I would prefer that over the reverse osmosis filter we have under the kitchen sink. But I’ve not purchased a Berkey yet and it seems like a more important expense always comes up. You know, like having a new baby! It would be great to win one. I’m very interested in this! We have a filter that attaches to our faucet, but we go through a filter every month. Maybe this would be a more effective and efficient way to filter our water.
We use to have similar setup, with faucet filter, this eventually was less and it also did more for our water and we could taste the difference!

I want one of these Berkey filters so badly – I just have two problems. One, they’re super expensive. And two, I have no where to put a giant water filter! Lol. If I won one for free, I suppose I might be able to find a spot for it though ;)
