Are You Using Swagbucks?

Search & Win

It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned Swagbucks here. With Christmas coming, I thought this would be a great time to share it again so that you can earn some free gift money!

Swagbucks is on online search engine that I use just like I would use a Google search engine. The difference? With Swagbucks, I earn “bucks” which can be redeemed for prizes. What prizes do I choose? Amazon gift cards – which I then use for school books, organic groceries, or Christmas gifts! (FREE!)  I’ve also redeemed some of my Swagbucks for Starbucks gift cards. And there are tons of other options, including restaurants, clothing stores, and much more.

I have found that the easiest way to use the Swagbuck search engine is to download the Swagbuck toolbar, or install the Swag Buck Plugin – either of which will make doing internet searches through Swagbucks simple. I don’t earn “bucks” every single time I do a search, but I do earn them several times each day. They all add up – and then they can be turned into gift cards!

In addition, you can refer your friends and family – then you earn more Swagbucks each time they earn. It’s a pretty sweet deal  – all for doing online searches that you would be doing anyway.

Let me know if you have any questions about how this works. I have found this to be a wonderful, easy way to earn free credit for gifts and books. Sign up now and start earning!

Here’s an awesome Lego set that Swagbucks Matt and I got our boys for Christmas last year. Score!

I just earned over 2,000 swagbucks by ordering a new oven online from sears.com! I’m excited to see what I can get with it this year! So far, I haven’t convinced anyone else that they need to be doing too!

Thanks for mentioning Swagbucks. I’ve heard of it and just have not taken the “plunge” (I always hesitate and procrastinate and hesitate and contemplate again before trying something new.:) )

So maybe I will try it. But does the search really work as good as
    Google?

I’ve not had any problems with the info it provides. You could always test it out by searching both in different tabs and see what comes up!

You know, I’ve done searches so long with Swagbucks I don’t even know what to compare it to! I’ve never felt like it didn’t offer good results. :)

I’m curious, is swagbucks just a marketing tool where they are tracking what people are using in their search engine? I’ve been debating back and forth if I want to do swagbucks. Are there any negatives or drawbacks to signing up now that you have been using it for a while?

I’ve been using them for at least three years and haven’t had any trouble at all!

I personally didn’t like swagbucks when I had it on my computer! The toolbar made my computer run extremely slow, and it also puts spyware onto your computer! And it takes A LOT of searches to get enough to get anything off of it. Google is way better!

I got my Dad’s christmas present with swagbucks last year, but I had forgotten they existed until now! Thanks for the reminder!
