And now for this week’s giveaway…

One of our family’s favorite read-aloud books has been Charlotte’s Web. I loved this book when I was a little girl, and my boys have all loved it too. While ordinarily I’m not a huge fan of pigs or spiders, they are perfectly wonderful and lovable in Charlotte’s Web, right?

Last summer Malachi and I read the book and started creating learning activities to go with it as we went. We made fun foods, learned fun vocabulary words, made fun crafts, did some creative writing – truly reading Charlotte’s Web together offered so much more than just fun reading time!

Peek Into Charlottes Web

I turned it all into this fun Read~Learn~Create book, which you can grab here. Wait. Let’s make this better. Use the code SPIDER to get it for a big discount. Now everyone loves spiders. Ha! (That code will expire June 30.)

Charlotte’s Web is a favorite! I grew up listening to the audio version read by the author, and my brother and I still quote from it frequently though we’re both nearing 40. My children love it now too!

Yes, we LOVE Charlotte’s Web in our house. We are homeschoolers and read it as a read aloud in 1st grade. I JUST finished reading it with my 7-year-old daughter a couple of weeks ago and my 10 year old son had to listen in because he loved it so much when we read it for his school :-)

We loved Charlotte’s Web when my kids were little–the book and the movie. They think they are too big for it now (they’re both 13). But I have a friend looking at homeschooling. I’d love to bless her with this.

My two-year-old and I read through Charlotte’s Web. I was shocked at how much he retained! He likes looking at spider’s outside, and told somebody that spiders eat flies and roaches. (Which is what Charlotte told Wilbur.) I’m so excited to have the packet, so we can read the book again with the activities! I hope he likes it too!
