Did I Ever Tell You We Became Foster Parents? (Plus, Final Hours to Build Your Bundle!)

If you’re on my email list, you’ve already been reading about all the latest our house. Indeed, five weeks ago, God made us foster parents.

We weren’t planning on this, but God was. It happened literally overnight, but we see how He has been preparing us for this. Right in the middle of preparing for a high school graduation party for our son #2, we welcomed an adorable 4-year old boy to our home. And here I thought I was busy. Ha!

So here we are. We’ve continued on with our normal high school and middle school schooling, schedules, and soccer games with our teenage boys – all while chasing and re-learning how to parent a little guy. I’m so much in the pre-school mode now that sometimes I forget and speak 4-year old language to my teens: “Justus, did you remember to wash your hands?” Ooops.

It’s all been beautiful and exhausting – a whole new experience in trusting God. He equips us for all He calls us to do, no doubt.

While I was planning to share the fun Early Learning printable books I found to use with B this summer, I realized I hadn’t taken the time to tell you about him in the first place! This is what happens when you’re busy, I guess. Phew!
