We’ve been so blessed this holiday season to have relaxing time at home, and to have time with extended family too!
We made a quick trip to Kansas over the weekend to be with my side of the family. Playing with cousins, eating great food, opening presents, and having great visits went all too fast.
Then, we arrived at home to do laundry, re-pack, and head to Iowa to meet more family. So much fun! In fact, we’re having so much fun I don’t have much time to stop and write. Sooooo….I’ll count on you to leave comments and fill in the gaps here so that we can enjoy reading about what you’re thankful for too!
Hope your holiday season has been filled with joy. :)
Now your turn. Share what you’re thankful for! Leave a comment on this post letting us know how God is working in your life. If you’ve written a blog post about what you’re thankful for, leave the link in the comments so we can visit your blog to read about it. We love sharing and reading about God’s blessings!
I am thankful for encouraging results today from my father’s scan. He has been bravely battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer for the last 12 months. The original tumor went away w/ chemo but the cancer came back on his lungs in October. Today we learned that 75% of the cancer spots on his lungs were gone thanks to the different chemo he’s been taking for the last 2 months. Wonderful news! God is great!!! Thanks for letting me share. Happy New Year to all!
And one more thing: I am also thankful for my awesome husband who stayed home w/ our kids for 2 nights so I could travel to be w/ my mom & dad to hear the results and sit w/ him during his chemo.
I did blog about Gratituesday and it is the year in pictures. Blessings to you Laura for a wonderful new year.

I have so much to be thankful to God for ! I had my first child this year. I’m on track to finishing a PhD. God has provided in ways I never thought possible before I had a baby. It’s been a great year all around.
I did write a post yesterday about giving God our best. It was a lesson God taught me while I was sitting in church just this last Friday.

I am gratfeul for surpises. This past Friday I found out that I’m expecting! Unplanned but very much grateful for the new life we will be bringing into the world.
I’m also thankful for time with family. I saw both of my siblings and all of my in-law and step siblings over the past few weeks. Met a new nephew and a new niece as well. :)
My husband has the next three days off of work and we are looking forward to spending time altogether just as our family and not going anywhere!

I am thankful that I have an among daughter who is the last of the kids to battle the stomach virus… She is OK. Last new years I was in picu with my son battling RSV. And God truly is great…He has seen us all through good and bad and knew the plan for us even before we did.

I am thankful for the faithfulness of God through a year that has been filled with sorrow and loss, and I’m thankful for His redeeming love! I’m also thankful for a husband who stands by me and holds me up when I can’t stand in my own. I’ve written a blog post about God’s faithfulness in 2013. http://bit.ly/1bzKWeE
Happy New Year and God bless!
I’m thankful for my small house. I love it’s details, it’s coziness, and it’s easy to clean! Less space = less stuff!
