Have Dry Hands? I Can Fix That!

Technically, I can’t personally do anything to help your dry hands. But I can tell you about my favorite, most loved hard lotion bar and remind you of how it has saved my hands from being dry, cracked, and bleeding winter after winter. I love MadeOn and all it offers.

My skin has been so much healthier ever since I began using the Bee Silk lotion bar. I used it every single day. My whole family uses it. I will never be without it. It’s made with three, wholesome ingredients that are completely chemical free. Love it, love it, love it.

The real reason I’m bringing this up – aside from the fact that I want your hands to be as happy as mine are – is that today only, MadeOn is offering free shipping on any order over $17.76.

Use code ‘1776‘ for free shipping on all orders over $17.76. Good only on President’s Day, Monday, February 17th. Ends at midnight PST.

Hurry and stock up! Your skin will thank you.

This sounds interesting. How does it go on ? Does it melt off the bar? Is the scent light or more? Thanks!

I just hold it in my hands like a bar of soap. It softens quickly, then I rub it all over my hands (and face and anywhere I need it). It has a very light scent – just the scent of the ingredients, so pretty much no scent. :)

Wow your hands must be really warm. Unfortunately, my hands/feet start to get cold around November and don’t warm up until spring. So the bar remains fairly hard while I rub it between/over my hands. Not a pleasant feeling on ruff dry knuckles. Plus, since the bar doesn’t warm up much, it takes FOREVER to spread. Love the natural/minimal ingredient concept, but I just couldn’t get it to work for me. Any ideas on how to salvage the bar? I thought about melting it down and adding coconut oil in hopes of making it more cream like.

Ugh, I wish my hands were warm. Oh how I miss the hot sunshine this winter!

I do have to hold the bar in my hands for quite a while before it’s spreadable. Maybe try warming your hands in hot water before using the bar? I’m not sure how it would work to melt it down.

Controversial comment alert–Interesting fact that natural healthcare practitioners generally consider cracked skin on hands and feet to indicate an overload of heavy metals in the body. I went through some natural healing to rid myself of metals and I no longer have this problem. My hands used to be so sore all winter and less so year round that I could hardly stand it.

Very interesting! I just went through a big heavy metal detox the past year as well. Exciting to think that my skin is healthier because of it!

That is great! Getting heavy metals out of the body will make the entire body healthier!

Interesting – because I never had really dry, cracked skin until I had kids and stopped working outside the home. I always just figured it was being in a drier environment (I don’t run humidifiers as often as I should) and washing my hands a billion times a day.

Prescription meds and vaccines are a huge source of heavy metals so could that be it? Maybe the meds from the epidural in childbirth? Heavy metals is one of the huge reasons we avoid the flu shot.

I don’t think it’s that, either – I had my first child (almost) drug-free, no epidural, and the problem started not too long after that. My best guess is hormonal changes and (as I said) washing my hands a billion times a day, stripping out the moisture.

(There are a lot of things that changed about my body when I began staying home. Most of them I chalk up to the differences in lifestyle between being a stay-at-home mom vs. sitting at a computer 10 hours per day.)

Well I got interested in this while reading, sent it to my sister, shoot I just put an order in for me and her both! Bee Silk and the Bug One too, hoping to use it on my Jack Russell’s fur where every summer I see mosquitos swarming (and well of course on myself). Thanks for turning me onto it through your newsletter! I hope I will love it as much as you do.

I just put in an order last week! Had to team up with some friends to get above $50 for the “regular” free shipping.
