Homemade Bubble Bath {Gifts in a Jar ~ Day Four}

Well, technically, this is a gift in a bottle. But jars and bottles are practically the same, right?

You may have seen this recipe on my site already. But I decided to post it again, simply because homemade bubble bath makes such a great gift. It is super inexpensive to make. And if you make it with a healthier shampoo, you’ll be creating a much healthier bubble bath! (We are very careful about avoiding hair and body products which contain lots of harmful chemicals. We prefer Giovanni 50-50 Shampoo.)

Homemade Bubble Bath

1/2 cup shampoo
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt

In a bowl, mix the shampoo and water until well combined. Add salt and stir until it thickens slightly. Use a funnel to pour it into a bottle.

    What are your labels printed on? Label stickers of some sort? They are so cute!

      I’ve been just printing them on paper and glue sticking them on. :) Sticker sheets work great too though!

    Thank you for this beautiful homemade gift idea! Could you give a suggestion on what size label to print the gift tags on?

    Thanks!

    Could you use Dr. Bronner’s soap in place of shampoo? I was thinking about making this at Christmas for my in-laws, but there a couple of people who can’t do scented soaps and such because they have sensitive skin and Dr. Bronner’s Baby Mild is the only soap I can think of that they’d be able to use…

      Yes, I think that would work just fine!
