This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LÄRABAR for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am here today to tell you all about why I love LÄRABARs, and it isn’t even because my name is Laura. Really, I’d love them even if their name wasn’t similar to mine (although my boys might not think they were as cool).
I’m not really one to purchase many pre-made bars and snacks. I only buy them occasionally to take on road trips and to soccer and basketball games. Most pre-made bars don’t do much to satisfy any real kind of hunger, not to mention they usually contain ingredients I would normally consider to be compromise ingredients (yes, even in the organic ones).
But LÄRABARs, now that’s a different story. Some of them contain a total of only TWO ingredients. My favorite LÄRABAR, as a matter of fact, is the Cashew Cookie bar. It contains dates and cashews. That’s IT. And it tastes divine!! At most, a few varieties of LÄRABARs contain nine ingredients. It’s highly impressive that they can make such a delicious bar, with so many different varieties, with so few ingredients.
LÄRABARs are all natural, gluten free, non GMO, Kosher and are free of preservatives, colors and fillers. With the exception of the few bars that contain high quality chocolate chips, most LÄRABARs are dairy free, sugar and sweetener free, soy free and vegan.
We were sent a wonderful variety box of LÄRABARs and have had so much fun sampling the different kinds. They’re full of nuts and fruit…what a delicious combination of goodness!
I’m not sure if you follow “The Biggest Loser” on TV or not, but it would appear that LÄRABARs were featured and recommended on the March 8 episode. Way to go LÄRABAR!
The cost of LÄRABARs is anywhere from $1-$2, depending on where you look. (I’ve actually spotted some at Wal-mart in the pharmacy section!) This cost might seem high at first glance. I’ve gotta say though…have you ever purchased high quality nuts and fruit? These ingredients cost more than puffed rice and HFCS. I think the value and quality of LÄRABARs is quite high, making the cost well worth it. You could pay almost a buck for a candy bar after all. Why not put that money into something that will fill and nourish you?! :)
Here’s where you can get your LÄRABAR coupon!! It’s good for $1 off 2 bars…an excellent deal!
Have you tried LÄRABARs? Which is your favorite?
I love all of them! I’d have to say my favorite is the lemon bar. The kids love them too. I always stock up when my Kroger has them for $1.00.
I love the coconut one since coconut is so good for you! I tried making it with the same ingredients and it pretty much tasted the same! Except.. it wasn’t any cheaper making it myself!
We scooped up that coupon yesterday so that we could try these!!
Have you ever tried to make homemade Larabars. Last summer when I was doing a lot of hiking, I would whip out a new batch each week making the flavors that I want. Plus saves some money! Here are some possible recipes to go off of, but I always end up creating my own:

Love them!!!
I also heart Larabars. They are a great grab and go snack when participating in the Daniel fast. My favorite is the pecan pie one…. yummy
I LOVE these too! I feel great about giving them to my boys as a snack on the go. We all have different favorites but have never had one that we didn’t like. I especially love that they’re raw. Sometimes I can find them at Costco for a great price. Thanks for the coupon!
I’ve never actually had the packaged kind but we make our own and we love them!
I love Larabars! My favorite is peanut butter chocolate chip, I have also tried blueberry muffin. I want to try and make my own, but not sure where I can find the ingredients where I live. Thanks for sharing the coupon!
I haven’t tried them either, but I’ve made the ones from Kitchen Stewardship’s Healthy Snacks to Go ebook and they are awesome!
I have never heard of these but they sound WONDERFUL! I have completely gone off sugar and I’m not using artifical sweetners so I haven’t had any baked ‘treats’ in a long time. But these sound like something I could eat. I will have to search our local stores to see if anyone carries them. But I REALLY want to try them. Thanks for the info!
I love Larabars too! And I even made a remake of my favorite one: Apple Pie

Dr. Laura
I’ve never had them, but I have seen them advertised on Biggest Loser many times. My husband and I were just saying that we should try them, so it is funny that I clicked on your site and it was about Larabars!
PS. Made your Ranch Dip and we are enjoying it with our veggies! Thank you!
YES! WE LOVE THESE!
I just wanted to let you all know that I get 18 bars in a big box at Sam’s Club for about $15.00
I started buying them when they had them out for samples once. I have since bought a lot of boxes!
Great snacks for my littles.
These are delicious! My favorite is pecan pie! :-)
My favorites are chocolate chip cookie dough and cherry pie. I agree – can be fun to make, but may end up costing as much.
i just checked these out today at the store after seeing them on BL last night! i have yet to try one but maybe i will when i go shopping this week!
I love the chocolate flavor from the Larabar Jocalat line. It has a dark chocolate flavor without tasting too sweet. Most of the Larabars taste too sweet for me.
We get them at Costco for 18 in a box for $15.79 on the West Coast, This is .88 each! We love them! But, I have made them and they are EASY, too!
Yep, that is our main snack bar when necessary! Sam’s Club has a 3 kind variety pack of 18 for like $15. It is usually Cashew Cookie, Cherry Pie, & Apple Pie. One time it was the Peanut Butter instead of Cashew Cookie. They are all good. :)
Because of your rave reviews of Larabars, I bought 2 today at Kroger – who has them on sale for $1 ea. I wasn’t able to print off the coupon (printer’s not working) but if you do print it off, they would be $.50/ea. at Kroger with the coupon! That’s a great price! I can’t wait to try them :)
Oh, I’m so sad! I went through the process but it didn’t let me select a printer so it didn’t print (I wasn’t hooked up to the printer that is the default on my computer). No coupon for me I guess! :(
Larabars rock! My fab is the peanutbutter cookie…dates, peanuts, and salt. ;) love it!
Love Larabars. My favorite is Cashew Cookie!
We make batches of these each week.
I just saw on Amazon that if you sign up for “Subscribe and Save”, you can get a 16-count of the fruit and nut bars for $15.20 ($0.95/bar) or the Jocolat for $19.54 ($1.22/bar). Thought I’d pass that along…
Has anyone used a mini food processor to chop the dates?? And does the mini processor do a good job???
Thanks for any replies.
Mary- I have used a mini chopper to chop dates and it worked pretty good, it came with the stick blender.
Thanks Janelle! Your comment helps!
