    Hey Laura!

My comment today has nothing to do with ba-na-na pudding although I do love me some banana “puddin” (as we call it at my house). Wanted you to know that you inspired me last night.

I love reading about the changes in your home. Love knowing that you are spreading so much love around. You are so brave to take this new path God is leading you down.

    So – about last night..

My house is very dull. Our children are grown and our house just has my husband and I, and our pets in it. We have lots of fur baby love going on but no one for me to really “cook supper” for anymore.

My husband bowls once a week and last night was bowling night. My parents were at our house for a little visit when we got home from work and when they left it was after 6:30p. The hubby left for bowling and it was just me and the fur babes. What to eat for supper at that time of evening? Ugh! I was SO TEMPTED to run to McDonalds. I mean – its just ME!

But, I channeled some “what would Laura do” and decided to whip up a quick batch of sloppy joes. I make mine with ground beef, tomato sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and a little prepared mustard. I also quickly cut up some lettuce for a small salad to go with my sandwich.

The whole meal took me less than 20 minutes to make; quicker even than would have been the trip to McDonalds!

Thanks, Laura, for continuing to inspire me to make dinners at home, even if they are something as simple as a skillet of easy sloppy joes! My meal last night was delicious and I’m so glad I chose to cook at home.

Have a great day! Thanks again!
