Possible Azure Standard Delivery Route in North Texas!

March 12, 2010 by Laura 35 Comments

This post may contain affiliate links. For more information, please see our disclosure policy.

I received an email from Shelly (thank you!!) who has been in touch with some of the folks at Azure Standard about a possible delivery route in the DFW area! I’m so happy for all of you!

If you would be interested in having Azure Standard deliver their awesome food to you in North Texas, you need to email penningtonfam at yahoo.com to let them know of your interest. They are trying to see how many people may want to take advantage of their delivery route as they make plans to possibly expand.

If you live in the DFW area, give Dianne Pennington a quick email to say YES PLEASE bring a truck my way! Tell all your friends in the area to do the same!

I promise you will LOVE the benefit of having Azure Standard deliver to you!

I got an e-mail as well! I answered the e-mail and also the survey that was sent. I will be so excited if it happens. I’ve been looking through the Azure catalog and the prices are a complete dream to be! Come on North Texas! Get with the program!

Here in Arkansas, there is a drop point in Maumelle, close to Little Rock. I live in south Arkansas, but our homeschool group has gotten together to order and one mom volunteered to drive every month for pick up. We are very excited. So far we have only placed one order and the drop point is fairly new. So still working out all the kinks, but we are happy with the opportunity.

    Thanks for the info Laura.

I have been ordering from them for quite awhile. They have excellent quality and prices. When our group first started we had to report to the coordinator so she would know of we had enoughfor the order. Now it is never an issue. I, alone, order almost enough to fulfill the minimum! It is how I do most of my grocery shopping. I love Azure Standard. :)

I love Azure!! We live in California and there are plenty of opportunities for fresh produce but the price rarely compares to Azure!

I am ready for Azure to come to Dallas…. Not because I am in Dallas, but I am in Lawton, OK. If Azure makes it to Dallas, then we get a drop in Lawton!!! Right now there are 6 of us in Lawton ordering and we take turns going to OKC to pick-up. Lots of others are interested, but putting that first order in can be scary I think. So far I have loved almost everything I have ordered, but I think the cheese is my favorite. I did get a box of apples that were banged up, but they took care of it without any problem!

Hi Molly! My husband is the Azure driver for Texas. If you call me I can try to see if we can’t get you on a route. 785-633-3152 I’ve also set up a facebook page so I can help people! I did send a note to Laura letting her know I was working with Azure and my husband was the driver for the M-1 and m-2 route. I noticed that she gets LOTS of emails so it might be awhile before she gets to it and I wanted to make sure you knew you could call me. :-)

      Joanna,
Now I am so excited. I live in Austin and was a customer of Azure Standard while living in Southern Washington state. There is a product that I really need and having access to a drop point would be fantastic.
I have been out of touch for some years now and would like to have a new catalog. Where do you suggest I go to find one? Your message is dated 2010 – are you set up as group coordinator and how can I contact you? Thanks for any help you can offer.Rosie

        Hi there Rosie!
How wonderful to have lived that close to Azure!

Yes I am the drop coordinator for San Marcos and surrounding areas including South Austin!

Depending on where you are in Austin, you can either join mine in San Marcos or Georgetowns.
San Marcos Drop Point – http://groups.yahoo.com/group/azure_sanmarcos_texas/
        Georgetown Drop Point – http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/azuregeorgetown/

As for the catalog, you may view all of their products online https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/category. I think that would be the best route. I would be happy to get one for you but I usually don’t get them.

I hope that this helps, if you have any other questions then the best way is probably to contact me through the San Marcos group. :)

Hope to get to meet you!

I am so excited about this! I am the drop coordinator for Waxahachie, TX (south of Dallas) thanks to you posting about this possibility. Looks like we may have a small delay in getting the route this way but we all have our sights set on a August start time. :) Thanks Laura!

    Hello,

I recently moved to SW Louisiana just across the border from Beaumont and organized a fine food store that ordered from Azure when I lived in Oregon. I keep reading mention of a survey. Does anyone have a link that I could access?
Also, does anyone have an email to Azure that is read. Several weeks ago I emailed their “Info” email address but haven’t heard a word back.
I already have considerable interest in this area and space at my market for a booth to display products and generate more interest in Azure. Hoping they will extend their route to me. :)

Any info would be appreciated. Feel free to email me.

    Thanks!
    Moriah B.

Hello. I wanted to let anyone in the area know that there is now a delivery route schedule for the TEXAS PANHANDLE. If I understand it right, it will cover parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas panhandles! I live in a small town on Interstate 40 – McLean – if it can happen here, it can probably happen close to your home too! I am so glad for this opportunity!

FYI: If you are looking and there is no route near where you live, you can call and get the ball rolling with Azure! That is how a group of people did it here in Texas. If our town of 800 has this great of a demand, I know most other towns will do ever better than us! Get to talking, assess the interes,t and go from there. Azure Standard wants to grow just as much as you want a delivery route near your home. God Bless!

        Hi Joanna,
Thank you for the quick response.

I set up an account online, so all I need to do is order using the
drop information you provided. Then pick up at designated time.

        Is this right?

        Thank you so much!

I am seeing all the posts about a survey. Is there a survey I should be filling out for the DFW area? I live near Denton and would love to join in on the delivery order! Any route scheduled for the Dallas/Ft.Worth/Denton/Plano area?

      Hi Natalie,
The survey was about a year ago to see if there was enough interest in Azure
      coming to Texas.

I would get into contact with Diane Pennington at [email protected].
She is the person that can get you in contact with the drop coordinator for
      DFW area.

      I hope that this helps!
