Ever answered a question by asking a question?
Yeah, you get to do that today. Cool.
Last year during the week or two around Christmas time, I shared a little series called Learning About Laura.
This year during Christmas time, I thought I’d do something similar and add to the series. But this time…I’m letting YOU pick the topic matter.
Now, you already know about my horrid high school nick-name…you know about my favorite childhood memory…and you know about how my husband lost a coin toss and that’s how we started dating.
What else would you like to know? Have any burning questions you’ve been just dying to know about me?
I’ll work on answering your questions during the next couple of weeks!

Hmmm. You always make me laugh…so I am thinking your sense of humor is the same as mine (I could be totally wrong), just wondering what your favorite “funny movie” is?
What do you wish you had known about marriage and/or parenting before learning lessons the hard way?
Where did you get your mad cooking skills from? Were you always a wonderful cook?
Speaking as one who had years of the single life with a great career, then marriage at 40– I wonder what career you would have pursued if you’d gone that direction? Maybe I should know this after reading all about Laura, but I don’t. What ‘outside’ interests have captured your attention and might have launched a career if you hadn’t built a life with your wonderful family?
Maybe you have shared this already. But, I would like to know when you became a Christian.
It’s said everyone has their own struggles and walls to climb in life. What has been your biggest struggle and how did you keep your faith during that time?
What is your favorite vacation memory with your family and what are your vacation traditions? Esp in the car with FOUR boys.
What prompted you to begin a “heathy” cooking style? How did you get started?
What skin care products and make-up(if you wear it), do you use? Where do you purchase it?
Thanks!
Sharon
I think someone already said this, but I was wondering how and when you came to know Christ?
I’ve been working on a project for my kids – thought you might like this idea . . . I’ve asked their grandparents to write about their salvation experience; my husband and I are doing the same thing – I’m going to print the testimonies and put them in a small photo album with pictures. Should there be a death (sorry, not trying to be morbid) knowing that Mom or Dad or one of the grandparents is definitely in Heaven, should provide some cushion of comfort.
Hi Laura,
I am wondering whether you take time to yourself? You give me the impression that this is not a “need” in your life in so far as you obviously love spending time with the boys each day and your husband. However, how do you unwind? Do you enjoy time by yourself or do you find the time with your family is where you find yourself re-energised?
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and 2010. You have been a great source of encouragement to me in 2009 and I have enjoyed reading your blog. My husband laughs when I speak as if I know each of the people I read about but he knows that its a great connection for many of us homemakers.
Julie
Thanks
Julie
Hi,
My question relates to something I am experiencing now. How do you think you will react/feel if one of your sons decides to marry a woman who is not a Christian? Would it bother you more if she was of another faith, or if she had no faith?
Thank you,
Violet
