I hope that your day is filled with family, fellowship, fun and…food. :)

We’ll be having a big ol’ party at our house today while Daddy’s at work. Husker-Du, Sequence, Apples to Apples Jr., Traverse….and of course…some Nertz.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Happy Thanksgiving Laura. I too have a hubby that works today (thru Sunday actually.) We had our turkey dinner yesterday and are still exhausted from all the fun!

My best Thanksgiving ever since I have a 10 month old. I made my first turkey ever. I’ve got a question for you though. I’m making stock tomorrow with the carcass and used the neck and gizzard already. Do you use the liver that comes with the turkey? I’m guessing it would have some good nutrients in it and don’t want it to go to waste. Thanks! A little off topic, I know… But it’s related to Thanksgiving :)

Yes, throw that liver in to make the stock for sure! Good stuff!
