As many of you know, I’ve been a member of the Azure Standard food co-op for many years. They played a huge part in gently transitioning our family from processed food to real food, and still play a big role in our daily life. Here’s why:
- Their prices are very reasonable (much less than a typical “whole food” grocery store).
- I can shop their online site and place my order easily.
- Their delivery truck drives right to our town every month.
- Their food is top quality.
See, I went from buying poptarts with coupons and doing everything I possibly could to get cheapo groceries to learning that we needed to revamp our entire diet. The financial burden of this felt enormous to me. Plus, I live in a small town where there are very few organic options. So when my friend told me about Azure Standard, I felt I’d been given a gift.
Through the years, I’ve saved oodles of money and time by shopping Azure Standard. Their healthy options are abundant! Matt and I are even buddies with our truck driver. Ultimately, we feel that Azure is family. They are great in every way.
Where does Azure Standard deliver?
There are hundreds of routes all over the U.S. Check here to see if there is a route near you. More than that, I recommend you read over this page to learn all about how Azure Standard works. It’s the least complicated co-op I’ve been a part of, which is why I’ve stuck with it for so long!
Here’s a picture of one of my Azure orders from a few years ago.
Azure Standard keeps expanding!
I’ve loved watching Azure Standard grow through the years. They continue to add routes to reach more and more states and communities across the U.S. Just recently, they added routes to Florida – so if that’s where you’re from, check to see if there’s a drop point near you. If there’s not one, you can easily get one started. (There wasn’t one in my town until I called and set one up. Easy peasy!)
What’s more is that if you don’t see your state or area on the delivery route list, you can contact Azure Standard to let them know of your interest ([email protected]). They want to hear from you so they know how they can serve best. If there is enough interest in a particular area, they may try to add a route that comes to you!
Have questions?
Look over this page to learn the basics about what Azure offers and how it works. They’ve served our family well for many years. How great that they are continuing to provide great service and grocery options to many more families!
Their prices are hit or miss for me. Then again I have a very large grocery store with a decent natural/organic section. I have been comparing my store to vitacost to azure and I just haven’t placed an order recently. I do still manage the Facebook group for our drop and help out our drop leader but I just lost my enamor with them I guess.
They do have excellent customer service though and the range of product is amazing.
Thank you for sharing the kind words regarding our customer service! Each of us delight in serving. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve your family. ~ Jeanette Wood Azure Route Development Manager.
Looking at the map again (I’ve checked in the past), I feel left out! I’m in New England, and it appears that there are no drops anywhere near here!
I do have to say that I have some pretty good places to get quality foods around here (esp. being not too far away from Boston), so I’m thankful for that.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful tips for saving money on healthy foods.

NOPE! No drop offs at all in Virginia, let alone near us in the northern/Washington D.C. region. North Carolina border is too far away. How many people have to show interest for them to add routes? We wouldn’t have the time or passion to recruit families . . . guess we’ll stick to shopping at Aldi, BJs, Walmart, Wegmans, balancing low price and healthier choices.

Azure has delivered to south Louisiana for several years now. I’m so thankful! Their prices aren’t always the lowest but I have to drive an hour one way to Costco or Whole Foods. I much rather drive 10 minutes and pick up our order than haul my 7 children on a 4-5 hour shopping expedition. Just picked up an order 2 days ago. My children look forward to seeing what I’ve ordered each month. Azure has definitely been very helpful for us!
Thanks for sharing, Micah. We love stopping in your community each month with healthy and affordable products for your family.
don’t appear to be any routes east of PA for me. :( I live in NJ.

I’ve had Azure delivery for about 4 years. Love it. We do have a lot of options in Knoxville, TN now with Earth Fare, Whole Foods, Costco, and Publix and Kroger’s which have really good organic and natural sections. There is a good Co-op here and Farmer’s Markets on Saturday’s except in the winter off season.
This is great to hear, Judy! Thanks for being part of the Azure community. We love serving you and your community each month.
I first heard about Azure on your blog and I’m so thankful for that! I’ve used them for almost a year now and it’s changed everything about how I buy groceries. Sometimes Costco is cheaper, but for lots of things, Azure is cheaper and also has things I can’t find elsewhere beyond Whole Foods or Co-ops with the corresponding higher price tag.
I just found out Azure is starting an Azure Advantage discount program. It may not be a good value for some, but I think it will save our family about $150 next year! You can email them to find out how much you would have saved on your previous year’s orders with the program. Plus you get a bonus gift box every other month for free. You might want to check it out, for some reason it is not well publicized:

Hi, Kristi! It’s great to hear that you’ve been part of Azure for the last year. We look forward to many more years of serving you and your family. Congratulations on joining the Azure Advantage Membership program. I know many, just like yourself, are excited about the savings. Thank you for being part of the Azure community! Let me know if there is ever anything I can do to assist you. 971-200-8351 or [email protected] ~ Jeanette Azure Route Development Manager
Am I missing something? There’s a drop off right by me but looking at the prices….yikes! Really expensive!
$5 for 2 avocados
1 cantaloupe $4.50
1 pineapple $6.50
This is just a few examples but I can’t find anything that would be worth it :(
Hi, Dee!
If I can help you compare prices, just let me know. I would be happy to assist you. One of us here in the office are available to assist you Monday through Thursday 6am to 6pm Pacific Time or on Friday between the hours of 6am and 4:30 Pacific Time. I know when I have personally compared prices to my local resources, I have noticed the best prices when shopping bulk, however, many of our customers, including myself, have found single items comparative to local organic options.
The produce can be a good value, especially for things in bulk and in season. But yes, sometimes there are things that you can find for a lower price locally. I find the dry goods and canned/bottled goods, especially in large quantities, the best value. Often they carry things I just can’t find locally, especially the less processed, organic items.
