Since we got home from our Kansas trip, we’ve filled our house with extra teenagers. It kind of just happened, without much planning. I’ve decided that sometimes that’s the best way to do it!
Our boys invited friends over for a movie night on Saturday, which included tons of popcorn and a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies. On Sunday, six extra kids came over after church for lunch. I quadrupled my waffle recipe, so we got along just fine. Then, Sunday night our high school youth group came over for Huddle, so our living room filled up again. Nachos, Bible study, and fellowship – a great combination.
Why am I telling you all this? No reason. It’s just been a lot of fun, and while I’m sitting in my office trying to write (Sunday afternoon), I’m listening to teenage hubbub in my living room. I’m so grateful that my boys have such great friends in their lives. {happy sigh}
