Just a piece of encouragement…

As you go about your day with your children…or co-workers…or spouse…or the people you run into while you’re getting groceries…

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:  Rejoice!

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present you requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:4-7

Read it again.

Think about it.

It tells us to simply:  Rejoice…be gentle…be calm…pray…and accept His peace.

God is good!

Thanks- I needed that! :-) I was so totally afraid I wasn’t going to sleep again last night, and when I got home from church, I sat down with my Bible for a while (which I haven’t been doing very regularly.) I was able to sleep all night- and with no help from a pill!
    GOD is good isn’t HE?

Oh yes, I definitely needed that! Thank you!! We have an IEP meeting for Samuel this morning, and my tummy has been in knots. I’m going to just keep reciting this to myself on our way there.

Well, what can I say except I have not been very gentle this week and it was good to have a ‘gentle’ reminder like this post to show me how ungentle I have been.
