I’ve had multiple people ask me what air fryer I recommend. I’m finally getting around to sharing!

What Air Fryer I Recommend
A few years ago, Matt and the kids got me this air fryer for Christmas. We have given this a big workout and WE LOVE IT.
The one drawback:
It isn’t big enough for our family. Ha, but do they make air fryers big enough for our family?? Others with large families – I’d love to hear what you use!!
I’ve been looking into this so that I can save time in the kitchen. This 10-quart air fryer looked pretty great, so I recently picked it up at Sam’s. WE LOVE IT.
There are fancier air fryers out there, but the simpler the better in my opinion. That’s why I’m drawn to this brand.
What we make in our air fryer
I’ll admit: most of what we make in our air fryer is from a bag. :) Chicken nuggets, fries, tator tots, and sweet potato fries.
Surprising items: We love to rewarm pizza in our air fryer. We also use it to warm up these burritos. And…we toast bread or bagels for 3 minutes in our air fryer. So we no longer use a toaster at all – we use our air fryer for all toasting needs!
Occasionally we make green beans in the air fryer like this.
Do you have an air fryer? What kind do you like? What do you make in your air fryer?
We have the Cuisinart combination toaster oven/ air fryer. We bought it to save counter space and because I was tired of having to clean the air fryer we used to have (like yours) every time my guys used it. I NEVER use it. It’s better, but still needs to be cleaned more than I’d like, and the crumb tray in the bottom makes no sense, because anything that it’s caught gets wiped into the bottom of the oven. My husband uses it often and loves it.
sounds good but I am a small family so Iove my Black and Decker toaster oven with the air fryer setting. Like a previous post I like it because it takes up little counter space and I do most of my baking, reheating, toasting, etc. with it. Unless I am having company I don’t have to use my stove often for just the two of us.
I love hearing your stories of your big family and how you manage.
God bless you and all you do.
You have to let us know what you end up thinking about the 10 qt. We are a family of 7 (soon to be 8-we are adopting!) and I have wanted an air fryer but knew that the size would be a problem! I am curious if the ten qt feeds the whole family. Also do you have to leave it out on the counter of if you get it out as needed?
We use the Cosori. I had one like yours prior but now I think I prefer the square larger basket area. My husband also got this on Equipbid brand new, for FAR less than it retails. It is simple to use and yet, also has wifi so you can adjust from your phone. I haven’t really needed this but it helps someone I’m sure.
Because air fryers are essentially convection ovens, I have baked quick breads in it with great success. We use it nearly everyday for something. Chicken is amazing in it, any veggie that I would roast, especially potatoes and beets since they take so much longer in the oven. It makes perfect fish filets every time: salmon, trout, OrangeRoughy, Mahi Mahi, etc. I tried making hard boiled and soft boiled eggs in it and it worked wonderfully! It’s around 9 and 6 min. Medium rare meats cook well also, like steak!
The only things I have not had success with, are things that do need oil such as fried green tomatoes or battered fish for fish tacos.
Between the air fryer and the InstantPot, we are pretty spoiled. I love that I can sear and sauté in the IP things like meat for carnitas, and then add the rest to finish cooking!
Good luck on your air fryer endeavors!
