Feeling spicy? As in – do you have plenty of cinnamon on hand? You’ll need it after you look through all the recipes in this post.
While I think about food year-round and enjoy all the different flavors each different season brings, I have to say that there is something so exciting about Fall Recipes. It must be the cinnamon, and the warm drinks, and the comfort that comes along with all of these flavors – not to mention the anticipation of upcoming holidays.
Today I compiled 21 of my favorite fall recipes. If you don’t have pumpkins or apples around – you’ll need to go get some. And I believe we already covered the need for cinnamon….
1. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
2. Apple Pie with Whole Wheat Crust
8. Sweet Potato Streusel Muffins
9. Apple Crisp
12. Peanut Butter Apple Cookie Bars
14. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake
15. Pumpkin Pie with Whole Wheat Pie Crust
16. Multi Grain Pumpkin Waffles and Pancakes

Now your turn. What are your favorite fall recipes?
I have a question. If I print this out will it print into a booklet or do I have to print each one individual. I would like to make it into a booklet.
Thanks
You would have to print each recipe individually, then put it together. :)
This is so nice! Fall isn’t my favorite time but these are nice comfort recipes to move forward with. Have a good week Laura. I enjoy your daily communications.
These recipes look so good! Fall is my favorite time of year; once September 1st comes around I am always lookimg for yummy fall recipes. Thank you for putting this list together!
I just wanted to tell you that I really like your new pictures in the posts!
They look great!!
Also I think I better go buy some cinnamon :)
Thank you! I’ve been working through them slowly but surely to improve them!
Gingersnaps! Their spicy scent fills the kitchen while they bake and puts everyone in a cheerful fall mood. Of course apple butter simmering in the crock pot adds a wonderful aroma as well, and it lasts longer! Another fall favorite is homemade cake doughnuts (using your recipe!) I wonder if these could become PUMPKIN or APPLE SPICE cake doughnuts? Hmmm….
After some ”issues,” I’m about to get a dependable oven and can’t wait to do some fall baking! :)
We had pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for breakfast – they were delicious! Of course, I only baked 1/2 of them . . . the other half of the muffin batter went into the freezer for another time :-)
One that I tried a couple times is to take your basic pancake recipe (the soaked one, but I often don’t soak) and simply add some cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg for some spiced pancakes. Then, the best part, is to take some maple syrup and mix it with some cream cheese and pour on top. Very, very yummy.
On a side note, my boys have re-named your breakfast cookies “Promise Land Cookies”. Because they’re “flowing” with (butter)milk and honey. :)
