I’m not sure if taking it easy is really a good term, but we do change up the routine and try and have a little fun. I will be reorganizing my kitchen, working a little for extra money, redecorating my daughter’s room (turning 10) and preparing for the busy schedule. I also want to get into a better reading my Bible first thing in the morning and exercising everyday routine before we start back to (home)school. Ahh, sounds like we might need another Christmas break soon.

Luara,
I hope by this time next year meal planning will be a regular thing for me. I am still trying to get the hang of cooking healthier. I know a plan makes it so much easier. Thanks for introducing me to Say Mmmm. I think that will really come in handy.

We’ve just kept on going. The twins (in 1st grade) don’t really know what school breaks or weekends are. They still ask on Sunday why we didn’t have school yesterday. I haven’t really made it clear to them the we traditionally don’t have school on Saturdays. I have just said, “We got everything done already, so we don’t need to have school today.” Since we got started a little late this year and needed more time to review from last year, I figured I would take advantage of that and just catch up during these normal holiday breaks. They don’t mind having something to order the first half of the day, anyway!

No break, just yet. I have to put my house back in order. It is 5:48am and I have already cleaned the guest room, guest bathroom, and started a load of laundry….

Leftovers all week for me. And trying to find a home for all the new gifts. Thanks again for the gingerbread men recipe, they were great.

My morning sickness has been getting the best of me for too long. We have to hit the books hard this week and catch up.

I like to take it easy, yes I do. Christmas is a busy time and I need a little downtime afterward.
