This brunch has been wonderful! Although I must say I’ve had to catch up in spurts trying to keep off the computer during the holiday season, but I’ve enjoyed reading them all! Question on your vanilla soother – being pregnant, I’m leary about eating things with uncooked eggs – does this “cook” them enough to feel safe? Or is that not really something I should worry about – our eggs come from our own chickens so I’m not worried about them in general – just uncooked. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

This has been nice. I’ve only gotten around to making a couple different cookies, but we’ll be enjoying the egg casserole tomorrow! We absolutely loved the orange cream cheese cookies. I had to make them into cookie sandwiches so the icing wouldn’t get all over the containers. You forgot to add the Peppernuts to your list! We LOVE the peppernuts! I still plan to make the chocolate snowballs sometime. We need a rest from all the sweets, as we are so used to not eating many. I’m so glad I found this website, you cook the way I do, but with new, and many better, ideas! Thank you!
