It’s what I want when I’m cold. It’s what I want when I’m tired. It’s what I want when I’m sad. It’s what I want when I’m happy. And this week, it is what I wanted when I was sick.
Warm Vanilla Soother is packed full of nourishing, stick-to-your-ribs comfort. And if you need comfort with a side of chocolate, well, there’s also Warm Chocolate Soother.
It is soother season, isn’t it? I just started making the chocolate again this week. It is so wonderful, you are right! And my tiny 2 year old actually enjoys it too (although she doesn’t like milk in any form)–I’m happy to get some calories in that girl!
So many of your recipes are now staples in our home! Thank you! :)
Oh my word! Since it’s snowing, I thought this would be a lovely Saturday morning treat for me. It’s like hot homemade vanilla pudding in a cup!
I hope you feel better soon! We love both soothers around here during the winter. Perfect with breakfast or whenever we’re trying to warm up. I make the chocolate one even more than I make hot chocolate!
This sounds like Heaven in a cup! I can’t wait to try it this afternoon after we decorate the tree! Thanks.
How right you are. I made that this morning, and it was so filling and warm and comforting. Hope you feel better soon!!
Where can you buy arrowroot powder? What is it?
I buy it through my health food coop, but I believe you can find it in the gluten free specialty section in a grocery store, or maybe even in the regular baking section.
It’s a thickening agent – you can also use corn starch if you like. :)
Yes, the pudding in a cup description fits this wonderful drink perfectly! My husband looked at the cup and asked, “Where have you been all my life?” :)
Nice!
Hey, I was just thinking it might be nice to add peppermint to both this one and the chocolate one!
Um, yes that does sound great. I’m definitely going to try that. I have such smart friends…
