Thanks for posting this collection of recipes!! I’ll be trying out your eggnog recipe, as it looks SO good!

One quick question. . . .if you were to substitute sugar in place of the maple syrup, how much would you use? (I know, I know. . . but it’s all I have right now! :) )

I’ve been reading your blog off and on since 2011 when my daughter was born, but I’ve really become a regular reader this past year since I get a little more time to myself again! I guess I will count this as my first official Christmas brunch!

I’ve never made homemade eggnog. Only 2 out of 6 of us drink it so I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. The Christmas Spice Cookies sound great; One of my favorite processed Christmas cookies is Keebler Jingles (not had them in years now because they’re processed), and I think I like them so much because of the nutmeg in them. I’ll have to try these!

My first year for this brunch and newsletter! I’ve been an Azure customer for years and recognize it as one of your reliable sources for quality ingredients. Over the last 5-6 years I’ve been “remaking” our recipes with whole wheat flour, coconut oil, evap cane juice crystals, whole organic grains, etc so your recipe makeovers help round out my repertoire (without guesswork). Thanks for everything!

I’m looking forward to trying the gingerbread cookies. He loves the ones we buy at the store, so I think he’ll love some home made! Thank you for the great recipes and inspiration!
