- Cheese slices (we like Colby jack or Pepper jack)
- Rewarm sloppy joe meat in a saucepan until bubbly.
- Butter two slices of bread and place on a warm/hot griddle.
- Lay a piece of cheese on each unbuttered side of bread, allowing cheese to melt.
- Spread warm meat over one piece of cheese bread.
- Place the other slice of cheese bread onto the sloppy joe/cheese bread to make a sandwich.
- Cook until both sides of bread are golden and cooked to your liking.
